Creating custom sweet treats and having wicked lame puns is my thing, it is just what I do! I love creating edible works of art! I push the boundaries when it comes to cake art. From traditional to extraordinary, and anything your mind can think of in a sweet creation. If you can dream it up, I want to bake it and make it a reality for you! I’m serious. The weirder, the better. I once had a little girl think up an idea and I fully executed her dream cake of a Chic-Fil-A mermaid cow topped cake!

I started Sweet Dulces By Karin while living overseas in England. I had become a member of a Clandestine Cake Club and I found that I really had a knack for cake decorating. Fast forward a few years and my family and I are now living in sunny California. SKRRRRRRRTTTT! Things have changed again. I am now living in sunny Spain!!! I have sharpened my skills and I absolutely love this job! I really love making cakes that look like other foods and objects.
My passion for baking and decorating cakes is what drives me to give you the best cake. I am always learning new techniques and ideas.
If I’m not in the kitchen covered in flour and making a huge mess I am usually at the gym, hanging out with my family and friends, reading, or binge watching tv shows from my bed late at night. I am a self proclaimed fitness junkie, a slight perfectionist, an introvert by nature, highly creative, and a bit on the weird side (don’t worry, it’s the good kind of weird). Some may say I am very punny or hilarious even, but I am very humble and accept the title of comical genius. I am a USAF veteran and military spouse. I like to travel around the world and have been to many cool places. I look forward to working with you and creating the cake of your dreams.
